This is a composite scene, with crowd figures in the background based on a Vignes photograph.

Drawn and produced as prints by Deborah Aschheim, based on photographs from archives at the Bancroft Library and UC Santa Cruz. Posters signed by the artist.
Larger format posters were exhibited on bus shelters in San Francisco as part of the Art on Market Street Program of the San Francisco Arts Commission, observing the fiftieth anniversary of the Summer of Love. Smaller size (61 x 43 cm) versions were produced for Bancroft Library by the artist.
